Qi wireless charging works through every non-metallic material up to 30mm (1.18 in) thick, including wood, laminate, glass, quartz, granite, marble, Corian, and acrylic. The only material that blocks the signal is metal. If unsure, measure your surface and contact us.
Does installation require an electrician?
No. Each unit plugs into a standard AC outlet. No hard-wiring, no dedicated circuit, and no permit required. For new construction, an electrician can plan outlet placement during rough-in for cleaner cable routing.
